Earthquake of magnitude 4.1 jolts Swat, adjoining areas

A moderate earthquake jolted Swat and adjoining areas on Wednesday but no causalities or property damages were reported.

According to geological wing of Pakistan Meteorological Department, tremours measuring 4.1 on Richter scale were felt in Swat, Mingora and adjoining areas.

People of the area where the quake was fled rushed out of their homes, buildings reciting Kalma e Tayyeba and verses from Holy Quran but damages were reported from anywhere. —INP
