At the inaugural Session of Implementation of E-office at PIFD, an MoU was signed between Pakistan Institute of Fashion and Design (PIFD) and National Information Technology Board (NITB). The MoU was signed by Project Director Muhammad Jamil Mushtaq from NITB and Registrar PIFD, Faheemur Rehnan.
Project Director Muhammad Jamil Mushtaq congratulated PIFD as first educational institute in Pakistan for adopting E-office. He also said E-office would eliminate the hazard of theft and cybercrimes, also ensuring that files are not damaged in case of any mishap.
Honorable Vice chancellor said it’s a big day for PIFD to implement E office in Collaboration with NITB that is the exact need of the era. World has moved to digital a long before, but it’s not too late to change our paradigm too.
She also said, E-Office fosters paper-less culture which will not only save operational cost but also reduce the carbon foot print.
In the first phase, Mr. Saif-Ur-Rehman, Deputy Director, NITB imparted training to faculty and staff as Master Trainer for effective implementation of E-Office System at PIFD.
