DUBAI – Philippines national constitutes 6.8 percent of the total population of the United Arab Emirates (UAE). Data shows 679,819 Filipinos live in the UAE, of which 450,000 live in Dubai.
All residents and nationals are required to keep a valid driving license with them while driving the vehicles as they can face fines or legal action in absence of it.
The traffic department can also impose fines if the driving license is expired. According to RTA guidelines, residents aged 21 years and above are eligible to apply for the driving licence in Dubai.
Residents younger than 21 years can also apply for a probationary driving licence.
