Dry weather likely to persist in most parts

Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) Tuesday forecast cold and dry weather likely to persist in most parts of the country during next 24 hours. Continental air is prevailing over most parts of the country, while, fog is likely to prevail over few plain areas of Punjab, the MET office reported.

The Quetta Met office forecast mainly cold and dry weather while very cool in central and hilly parts of the province during next 24 hours. Minimum temperature recorded during last 24 hours in quetta remained – 0.5°C in Ziarat and 0.5°C. Minimum temperature’s recorded in (°C): Leh -09, Ziarat, Astore -05, Gupis, Skardu -04, Parachinar, Kalam, Kalat and Anantnag -03. The Bahawawalpur Met Office has forecast dry and cold weather for the city for next 24 hours. The highest maximum temperature was recorded as 30 degree centigrade.—APP
