Pakistan Muslim League President and former Prime Minister Chaudhry Shu-jat Hussain, Speaker Punjab Assembly Chaudhry Parvez Elahi, former Federal Minister Moonis Elahi and Hussain Elahi MNA offered Eid prayers in Gu-jrat. They were accompanied by Mian Imran Masood, Khalid Asghar Ghural, Chaudhry Saadat Nawaz Ajnala and other PML leaders. Special prayers were also offered for the security and prosperity of the country and the na-tion after the Eid prayers.

Later, Speaker Punjab Assembly Ch Parvez Elahi while talking to media said that Eid-ul-Adha teaches us to sacrifice, the situation of the country also demands sacrifice from the nation. He said that I always pray for Ch Shujat Hussain, the relationship of respect and love with Ch Shujat Hussain will last till death, Insha-Allah, those who spread rumors among us will remain unsuccessful. Ch Parvez Elahi said that the nation would have to vote for PTI on July 17 to get rid of current incompetent rulers.

He said that people of Punjab would de-cide against these rulers in by-elections.

The poll of every constituency in the by-elections is against the deviant members.

Those who change political allegiances will be defeated. Insha-Allah, PTI will win the by-elections by a landslide.

He further said that the incompetence of the so called experts has brought the country’s economy to the brink of collapse. In the by-elections, the dreams of the Sharifs to enslave this nation will be shattered, Insha-Allah, they have always won elections by using bullying, rigging and government machinery against opponents.

Ch Parvez Elahi said that PTI candidates and workers have to guard their votes, the Supreme Court should take notice of the blatant violation of code of conduct and de-velopment work by the Punjab gov-ernment in the by-election constituen-cies.
