Punjab Health Minister Dr Yasmin Rashid has apologised from people over her statement about Lahorites. Dr Yasmin Rashid said that she was very upset about rising number of cases in Lahore when she made the statement. She added, “I am 70 years old and I consider myself as mother of Lahorites and I can scold them.” The minister further said, “I was born in Lahore and whole Lahore is like my family so I am worried about rising cases of the virus in the city”. She added that she is sorry if her statement offended anyone.
