Prof. Dr. Rubina Bhatti, Chairperson Department of Library and Information Science, the Islamia University of Bahawalpur visited the Central Library of National University of Science and Technology (NUST), Islamabad, and the national Library of Pakistan (NLP), Islamabad.
The Purpose of visit was to observe the library services and systems in these libraries, so the state of the art library and information sources, services and facilities may be provided to students, researchers, entrepreneurs and academia as envisioned by Prof. Dr. Athar Mahboob, Vice Chancellor, the Islamia University of Bahawalpur.
She exchanged her views with Dr. Midrarullah, Chief Librarian, NUST Library and Syed Ghyour Hussain, Director General, NLP. Some proposals for the future course of action were discussed for more formal cooperation and close collaboration between the Islamia University of Bahawalpur and the National Library of Pakistan.
