Launching ceremony of Dr Farhat Abbas’s new book ‘Safeer Naqad-o-Nazar’ was held at Punjab Arts Council Rawalpindi (PUCAR) in collaboration with Halq-e-Ilam Adab Pakistan on Thursday.
Prof. Ehsan Akbar presided over the ceremony while Mr. Jabbar Mirza and Ms. Abida Taqi participated in the function as special guests. Mr. Rehman Hafeez and Dr. Sher Ali were the guests of honor.
Addressing the ceremony, Dr. Ehsan Akbar said that ‘Safeer Naqad-o-Nazar’ is a strong and powerful book in every respect. Dr. Farhat Abbas’s articles are based on a unique style, which attracts attention, he added.
Jabbar Mirza said that there is no error or mistake in Dr. Farhat Abbas’s book. The book will be liked by the fans. Arif Farhad presented the award to Dr. Farhat Abbas on behalf of the circle of knowledge and literature for declaring Safeer Naqad-o-Nazar as the best critical work of the year 2020. Naseem Sehar, Anjum Khaliq, Abdul Qadir Taban, Shaukat Kamal Rana, Chandakheri, Nasir Ali also presented their poems in the ceremony.
The ceremony was attended by a large number of people belonging to the field of literature.
