Doorstep vaccination facility provided for police officials, families

On the directives of Additional Inspector General of Police (IGP) Karachi Imran YaqoobMinhas and Deputy IGP Security and Emergency Services Division Maqsood Ahmed, a doorstep facility for police officers and their families has been initiated to administer COVID-19 vaccines at their homes.

The decision has been made for the convenience of police officers and personnel families so that they can be vaccinated and be saved from the contagious coronavirus, said a news release on Wednesday.

Expressing his views, Maqsood Ahmed said police personnel perform duties round the clock in shifts and sometimes, it becomes difficult for them to get vaccinated themselves and their families.

In view of the fact, a door step facility of COVID-19 vaccination is being started. Families of police officers and personnel can seek assistance, guidance and place appointments at the helpline numbers Landline: 021-99244650 and 021-99344645 and Whatsapp: 0300-9111115.
