In a case of extreme criminal negligence, a surgeon left small pieces of gauze in the stomach of a woman patient after performing her pancreas surgery in Dina, Jhelum, it was reported on Friday.
Asjad Hussain, the husband of the woman, told that when his wife felt pain in her stomach, he took her for the CT scan. In the scan, it was transpired that the surgeon left small pieces of gauze in her body.
He said due to the utter negligence of the surgeon doctor who left things in the body of his wife during surgery, his wife got infection in her abdomen. APP
