Sri Lanka Cricket (SLC) board has hired the services of a specialist scorer Ashoka Chandrasekara as DLS (Duckworth-Lewis-Stern) manager, who will
coordinate with the match-officials (umpires and match-referee) for the forthcoming white ball matches against South Africa.
According to the well-placed sources, Ashoka Chandrasekara will liaise with the match officials (umpires and match referee) in calculating the revised scores in the event of the match being interrupted by rain or bad light or for any other reasons.
Ashoka Chandrasekara will occupy his seat in the pavilion during all three ODIs and the T-20Is.
ODI scorers and the DLS manager have already been in a bio-bubble since August 30. Their two PCR tests prior to joining the hotel (not team hotel) were negative, it is also learnt.
