Director General Sindh Food Authority Agha Fakhar Hussain has said that District Central is being made a model district in term of food centers and all those who are engaged in this business are bound to follow SOPs while violation of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) will not be tolerated.
He said that steps were being taken to make district central as a model district and in this regard, a team of Sindh Food Authority inspected more than 40 restaurants in North Nazimabad and over poor cleanliness situation and non-availability of the license, the team was fined more than 15 lac rupees. DG SFA Agha Fakhar Hussain asked the owners of the food items centers to follow SOPs, set by SFA and not to violate them at any cost.
He also requested all other stakeholders to cooperate with SFA in making district central a model district.
