Mostly deserving even physically impaired people have been ignored by the authorities in Insaf Health Card policy and there is no one to listen. On what criteria these cards have been given is not clear yet and there is no proper forum of lodge a complaint. People from different areas of Attock alleged this while talking to newsmen. Syed Ali Raza who is in his early sixties said that he was physically disable but was not eligible for Health Card.
Ali Raza said, having no source of income and suffering from many diseases have made his life miserable. Health Card was a ray of hope for him but this hope could not turn into reality. Kifayat Hussain who is in his late sixties and is physically impaired also told the same story. He said, I will be seventy next year and will certainly face many problems in getting medical treatment but no one is there to listen to get him Insaf Health Card. Young but physically impaired Faisal Shehzad who is in 28 years old told newsmen that he was physically disable person, having no source of income but govt has declared him not eligible for Insaf Health Card which was beyond comprehension. A disable Bushra Bibi who is 31, told journalists that she also could not get Insaf Health Card as she was not eligible as per the govt record. Another lady Najma Parveen who is in her early fifties told newsmen that she was also not eligible for health card although she belonged to a poor family.
