Dilapidated Kishna road creating problems for transporters

The local residents especially transporters have demanded the authority concerned to immediately start the repairing work of dilapidated Kishna road in Union Council Jhangi in Abbottabad district to avoid frequent traffic jam and horrific accidents.

Talking to media persons here on Thursday, local traders, transporters and other residents have stated that it is busy route but due to its dilapidated condition commuters faced hardships on routine basis.

They asked the district administration and elected representatives for their attention as road from Banda Nabi onwards to Kishna has been damaged and locals especially transporters have been repairing at their own since long.

Ajmal and Naseer both Suzuki drivers said his car frequently claimed that their vehicles developed faults due to the bad condition of road. Ali, another resident of Banda Nabir, said that they often faced traffic jams to the suffering of commuters and transporters. The residents of Kishna urged the deputy commissioner to order rehabilitation of the road.
