Minister for Industry,Commerce and Anti-Corruption Ikramullah Dharejo chaired a meeting of Karachi businessmen on Friday.
The meeting was attended by Secretary Industry and Commerce Riaz-ud-Din, Chairman Sindh TajirIttehad Jamil Ahmad Paracha, President All City Tajir Muhammad Sharjeel Goplani, Chairman All Karachi TajirIttehadAtiq Mir and officials of other trade organizations.
Meeting participants vow to follow instructions issued by Sindh government in view of current situation of Corona virus.
In view of the third wave of corona virus, it is important for everyone to follow SOPs, Dharejo saidThe minister said that the business community should cooperate with the Sindh government as the human lives are the most precious.
The people should cooperate with the Sindh government and the business community, he stressed and added only by taking precautions can we deal with the Coronavirus.
“The government is well aware of the problems of traders.Violators of SOPs will be fined.”
The minister said that the NCOC has directed that District East be completely sealed and announced that traders affected by the Coronavirus situation will be provided loans on easy terms through Sindh Bank.
He said, “I will put the demands of traders before the Chief Minister of Sindh in the meeting of Corona Task Force on Monday” and hoped the business community will cooperate with the Sindh government at all levels.
