DG SFA calls for collaboration to boost dairy industry

Director General of Sindh Food Authority (SFA), Agha FakharHussain, emphasized the need for collaborative efforts to enhance the dairy industry at the Pakistan Dairy Summit. The event, held at the historic Faletti’s Hotel in Lahore on World Milk Day, was themed “Milk Matters: Building a Healthy Nation for Life.”

The summit featured prominent participants, including Punjab’s Minister of Food Bilal Yasin and Minister of Primary Health Khawaja Imran Nazir as chief guests. Other notable attendees included the Directors General of the Punjab, KPK, and Sindh Food Authorities, the DG of PSQCA, country managers of GAIN and FAO, Vice Chancellors from UVAS, and the head of Food Sciences from BZU Multan. Senior parliamentarians, along with the leadership of the Punjab government and the dairy industry, also graced the occasion.

In his speech, DG SFA Agha FakharHussain expressed gratitude to the organizers and provided a comprehensive overview of the challenges and issues facing the dairy sector. He highlighted the summit’s role in bringing together key stakeholders to discuss innovations, policies.
