DG SBCA urges reports on illegal constructions

Abdul RasheedSolangi, the Director General of Sindh Building Control Authority (SBCA), conducted a significant meeting with all district directors, where he strongly emphasized the need for improvements and efficiency in all matters concerning the authority. During the session, DG Solangi issued crucial directives to the directors, with a focus on addressing illegal constructions and wedding halls, both legal and unlawful. Field officers were instructed to promptly submit undercover survey reports on illegal constructions within three days.

Furthermore, all district directors were tasked with gathering comprehensive details on cases pending in the Piravais Committees, ensuring the completion of legal formalities for addressing illegal constructions as per the 7/A Ordinance. Permission from the relevant director is essential for initiating enforcement actions against illegal constructions, as per the instructions of DG Solangi. The directors were also directed to provide a prepared list of all legal and illegal wedding halls.
