DG ISPR spotlights Pak Army’s Innovative Digital Education and Scholarship Programs

RAWALPINDI – Director General (DG) Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) Lieutenant General Ahmed Sharif Chaudhry showcased Pakistan Army’s impactful digital education and scholarship efforts.

In a press conference, the military’s media spokesperson said armed forces continued its efforts to support education, and highlighted its vital role in progress. Army spokesperson said that digital education is being provided to the youth, with a focus on Balochistan students, who are being supported through a new scholarship program.

Lieutenant General Ahmed Sharif explained that Pakistan Army is also covering additional costs for these students beyond their tuition. He mentioned 92 military-run schools in Balochistan, which cater to 19,000 students.

In addition, the Army also established 171 schools and three cadet colleges in Gilgit-Baltistan and AJK.

Furthermore, he also established medical camps in various districts, providing free healthcare services. Moreover, both local and international companies are involved in several development projects in the merged districts.
