RAWALPINDI – Director General of Inter Services Public Relations (DG ISPR) Lieutenant General Ahmed Sharif Chaudhry affirmed on Thursday that the country has taken effective measures against the presence of terrorists in Afghanistan.
He further assured that the Pakistan Army will continue to be a formidable force in defending the nation against any aggression.
The Director General of Inter-Services Public Relations (DG ISPR) was speaking during his visit to the Ghulam Ishaq Khan Institute of Engineering Sciences and Technology in Topi, Swabi. During the visit, he discussed the recent border clash with Afghanistan, security matters, and the role of social media in spreading information.
Lt Gen Chaudhry emphasized that the youth are the key to Pakistan’s bright future, highlighting their essential role in the country’s development and prosperity.
He also praised the students and faculty of the university for paying tribute to the martyrs and veterans of the Pakistan Armed Forces.
The students expressed their admiration for the army’s role in safeguarding the nation’s peace and progress.
They also suggested more such discussions to counter misinformation and propaganda, stating that these sessions helped clarify any doubts they had about the armed forces’ actions.
