NADRA makes payment system easier with new facility

ISLAMABAD – The National Database and Registration Authority (NADRA) has made it easier for citizens to pay fees with the launch of a new Raast (QR code) payment option.

Now, individuals can pay their registration fees instantly and without additional charges using their bank account apps or mobile wallets.

According to NADRA officials, the new system is available across all NADRA centers nationwide, and citizens can scan the QR code on their token slips to make payments in just a few seconds. This eliminates the need for cash transactions and long queues at registration centers.

The primary goal of this new payment method is to make the fee collection process faster, secure, and cashless, while reducing the use of physical currency at registration points.

The option allows citizens to conveniently pay their fees either from home or at the service counters without the hassle of handling cash.

The Raast system, developed by the State Bank of Pakistan, is a cutting-edge payment service that provides fast, secure, and low-cost transactions between banks and digital wallets, facilitating seamless financial exchanges for users across the country.

With this innovation, NADRA aims to streamline the entire payment process and make it more accessible and user-friendly for all citizens.
