The development of Urdu due to Mushaira, Pirzada QasimKarachi: To celebrate Pakistan Day, Sakinan-e-Shehr-e-Quaid, an association of poetry lovers, has organized Grand Aalami Mushaira for the past Twenty Six (26) years.

These views were expressed by Prof. Dr. Pirzada Qasim, Chief Coordinator Mehmood Ahmed Khan, and Chairman Organising Committee Farhan-ur-Rehman while addressing a press conference held at Karachi Press Club. Mehmood Ahmed Khan said that the guidance of Prof. Dr. Pirzada Qasim has taken for the 27th Aalmi Mushaira.

A press conference is being held in collaboration with the journalist community so that the opinion of the people can be taken.Prof. Aijaz Ahmad Farooqi said that Prof. Dr. Pirzada Qasim has patronage in Aalmi Mushaira so that the poets can be selected.Farhan-ur-Rehman also appreciated the services of Mehmood Ahmed Khan and said that the 27th Aalami Mushaira under the patronage of SM Muneer & Dr Perrzada Qasim would be a milestone.Prof. Dr. Pirzada Qasim said that the media has been keeping an eye on contemporary poetry and the development of Urdu is due to poetry.

There was a disturbance in the conduct of the Mushaira in COVID19.The International Mushaira has been finalized on March 22, now the arrangements will be good.

A book fair will also be organized before the Mushaira so that the books of the poets will be available with signatures. A large number of poets from all over the world will participate. We have also sent invitations to the Indian poets.

Karachi Press Club President Fazil Jamili said that the 27th number is very precious for us because Pakistan came into existence on 27th Ramadan, now this Mushaira will also prove to be one of the best Mushaira.Finance Secretary Jamal Azhar said that this 27th Aalami Mushaira will be a memorable Mushaira like the others.

No invitation will be required for 27th Aalami Mushaira. Anyone can participate in Mushaira but the SOP of COVID will be followed.In the end, Prof. Dr. Pirzada Qasim, prayers were offered for the reward of Professor Raees Alvi and other poets who have passed away.
