Details Emerge In Rawalpindi Lawyers Death At Judicial Complex

RAWALPINDI – Police have registered a murder case and launched an investigation after the body of lawyer Sanaullah Satti was found inside a vehicle parked at the New Judicial Complex Lawyers Club parking area.

The case was registered by the Civil Lines Police on the complaint of the deceased’s brother, Barrister Sajjad Ahmed Satti.

According to the complaint, Barrister Sajjad was informed that his brother’s body had been found on the driver’s seat of a vehicle in the parking area in front of the Lawyers Club. He reached the location along with other lawyers and found Sanaullah Satti dead inside the vehicle.

The complainant told police that foam was visible around the deceased’s mouth and blood was also coming from his mouth. He further stated that apparent injury marks were found on different parts of the body, including both elbows and both shoulders. The family has also raised concerns that a poisonous substance may have been administered to the lawyer.

Sanaullah Satti was associated with the legal profession and lived with his family in Gulzar-e-Quaid. According to his brother, the deceased had a daughter who was around one year old.

Police collect evidence

Police called a forensic team to the scene and collected evidence. Two mobile phones reportedly used by the deceased were also taken into custody.

Authorities have started obtaining CCTV footage from cameras installed in the District Courts area of Rawalpindi. Police are also examining call detail records and other available evidence as part of the investigation.

A client named Hamad, who also worked with Sanaullah Satti as his clerk, was reportedly with him.

Police said further details about the suspects and the circumstances surrounding the death would emerge after analysis of CCTV footage, call records and other evidence.
