Descon celebrated their 42nd Founders Day at Descon Headquarters, Lahore to commemorate another year of success as one of Pakistan’s most successful businesses.
The event was an opportunity for the company to show appreciation to Descon’s workers around the world for their efforts. In recognition of their commitment to the organization, Descon awarded Long Service Awards to numerous employees as part of the event.
Speaking about the event, Taimur Dawood, Chairman Descon said, “Founder’s Day is more than just Descon’s anniversary, it’s an occasion for us to connect with employees and celebrate their hard work and dedication. Not only are we praising the excellent work and the value they have added to the growth and success; we are also inspiring and encouraging them for the coming year.”
Hosted by actor and musician Ahmad Ali Butt, the celebrations included performances by Pakistani pop star Abrar-ul-Haq and a comedy segment featuring several renowned Pakistani comedians.
Similar events for the Founder’s Day celebrations also took place at other Descon establishments around the world.
Descon is a multinational company, headquartered in Pakistan, with diverse interests in the power, chemical, engineering and construction industries. They are also actively involved in fulfilling corporate social responsibility through a number of initiatives including educating underprivileged youth, and improving their livelihood through the Descon Technical Institute.
