The government of Pakistan has extended the deputation period of CEO Pakistan Human Development Fund Islamabad for two more years till December 2022. PHDF is country’s prime corporate body that strives to improve Pakistan’s human development indicators through projects in literacy, skill development, women empower, madaris main streaming, health initiatives, mainstreaming of prisons with the collaboration of local and international partners . Mr Jappa an officer of Inland Revenue Service in grade 19 intially joined PHDF in December 2017 for three years.
During this period he has been very proactive in extending projects into the whole of Pakistan with its executing agency, NCHD. During covid this partnership completed a pilot project to check the further spread of deadly virus and provided relief packages to the deserving families in the selected 18 districts of Pakistan. Erudite & scholar Mr Jappa is a graduate of Government College Lahore, IBA Karachi, Potsdam University Germany and of Geneva Centre for Security Policy Switzerland. He has been contributing to The Pak Observer on social & economic issues besides his other fiction works published worldwide. PHDF is supervised by its board of directors comprising of two federal secretaries and eminent professionals & business entrepreneurs. The president of Pakistan happens to the patron in chief.
