Dense fog, smog likely in plain areas

Very cold and dry weather is expected in most upper and central parts of the country and north Balochistan. However, dense fog/smog is likely in plain areas of Punjab. Temperature of some major cities recorded on Saturday.

Islamabad and Peshawar one degree centigrade, Lahore six, Karachi fourteen, Quetta minus three, Gilgit minus seven, Murree minus two and Muzaffarabad zero degree centigrade.

According to Met office forecast for Indian Illegally Occupied Kashmir, very cold and dry weather is expected in the territory. Temperature recorded this morning: Srinagar and Anantnag minus one degree centigrade, Jammu three, Leh minus eleven, Pulwama, Shopian and Baramula minus two degree centigrade.—APP
