DEMP holds exhibition on Iqbal Day

A digital photographic exhibition and calligraphy competition was organised on Iqbal Day by Directorate of Electronic Media and Publications at Information Service Academy on Thursday.

Senator Irfan Siddiqui inaugurated the exhibition. A video produced by Directorate of Electronic Media and Publications Kalam-e-Iqbal was exhibited during the event.

A calligraphy competition was organized by it to display Allama Iqbal’s poetry. Senator Irfan Siddiqui distributed prizes and certificates among the winners.

Ms. Ayesha Zahid from Rawalpindi Women University secured first position while Ms. Abeer Sajid from Mashal Degree College secured second position. Ms. Mishall Gulzar from Mashal Degree College stood third, whereas Ms. Bisma Shakeel from Roots International Renton College stood fourth.

Federal Secretary Information Ms. Shahera Shahid, renowned authority on Allama Iqbal Mr. Talib Hussain Sial, Director General DEMP Ms. Imrana Wazir, Director General DEMP Ms. Samina Farzeen and other officials of Ministry of Information and Broadcasting were also present during the event.
