Punjab School Education Department took notice of the delay in promotion of 50,000 teachers across the province including 4,500 in metropolis Lahore.
SED chastised District Education Authorities for delaying the promotion to 50,000 teachers.
SED sought a promotion committee meeting and directed District Education Authorities to send report about promotion cases of teachers.
As per SED, new recruitments will be made after promoting these teachers.
