Inspector General Police (IGP) Islamabad, Amir Zulfiqar Khan has said that roots of community policing are in relation of police community.
This was stated by the IGP on Friday while speaking in Radio Pakistan’s Program ‘Rabta’.
Amir Zulfiqar Khan said our major challenge is to deal with the menace of terrorism and incumbent government has initiated a number of programs in this regard.
Several training sessions are in progress for police officials of Islamabad Police, he added.
He said public trust on police is improving due to friendly culture and initiatives like ‘Pehly Salam phir Kalam’.
