Provincial Minister for Human Rights and Minority Affairs Ijaz Alam reached Sheikhupura on immediate notice on tragic train incident where he visited the accident site along with the district administration and received a detail briefing by the district administration.
Later on, the dead bodies of 21 Sikh pilgrims were brought to morgue room of KE Medical College, Lahore from Sheikhupura, late night dead bodies shifted to Peshawar for their final rites.
The minister Ijaz Alam Augustine, officials of Pak Army, Rangers, Pakistan Air Force and rescue took part in the process of shifting dead bodies at old Lahore airport, while the injured are being treated at Combined Military Hospital.
