The Sindh government has suspended Dr Anila Qureshi for providing corona vaccine to unrelated persons in Karachi and started investigation into the incident.
Health Secretary Kazim Jatoi has suspended Deputy District Health Officer Karachi East and appointed Fayyaz Abbasi, in-charge of immunization program, as inquiry officer and ordered to complete the investigation and report within three days.
It is to note that he Corona Virus vaccine was administered to unauthorized person other than health workers. And also that the said letter of the Health Department was released on the social networking website by Special Assistant to the Prime Minister Shahbaz Gul along with some pictures..
