Deputy Commissioner Muhammad Ali held on Wednesday an open court Online through Facebook and responded to citizens complaints through live streaming.
More than 700 comments were posted during one hour long open court, out of which the DC ordered resolution of half of the complaints.
He issued on spot directives for resolution of citizens problems while on some complaints he directed the officers of district administration to go to the spot immediately and report him within 2 days. The citizen highlighted the issues of encroachments, streetlights, parking, road patchwork. T
he DC briefed them that the necessary action is being taken. He assured the citizens that their issues would be resolved on priority basis.
He thanked the citizens for welcoming the initiative of online open court and said that due to the Corona epidemic situation, some people are not going to the offices for resolution to their problems for which the digital system is being utilized.
He said that the solution to the problems of the citizens is the first priority for which no minute will be spared.
He directed the Assistant Commissioners and Price Control Magistrates to check prices and quality of mutton as well as other items highlighted during the open court. AC Saddr umar Maqbool, DHO Dr Bilal Ahmad were also present.
