Deputy Commissioner Hafizabad Sundas Irshad directed the officers of nation building departments to ensure completion of ongoing mega development projects of construction of University of Hafizabad, DHQ hospital, museum and development work to upgrade Trauma Centre according to specification and timely so that people of the district could get benefits of government expenditure shortly.
She issued theses directions while inspecting con-struction work on ongoing developments projects being completed with the cost of more than Rs. 20 billion. Deputy Director Development Hafizabad Tasawar Abbas, CEO Health Dr. Umer Sharif, Dep-uty Director Colleges Hafizabad Professor Azhar Janjuwa and other officers were also accompanied by her.
During the visit of under construction building of University of Hafizabad, she directed the concerned officer to expedite construction work on the project to ensure use of hundred percent funds released by the Punjab government to complete this project according to specification.
Deputy Director Development informed the DC that hundred percent funds had been utilized released by the Punjab government already and he requested to release more funds for completion of building of DHQ Hospital earliest.
DC also visited site of Museum being constructed for enlighten the youth about traditional culture local, national culture and ancient heritage as well as provision of recreational facilities to the youth at local level.
While checking upgradation work in Trauma Cen-tre, DC reviews ongoing construction, maintenance work and reviewed treatment facilities available to patients in the centre so that the best treatment fa-cilities could be provided to people at local level instead of visiting.
