Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Senator Ishaq Dar on Monday held a telephone conversation with Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi to discuss regional and international developments.
According to a post shared on X, the two foreign ministers reviewed the evolving situation in the region and exchanged views on efforts aimed at maintaining peace and stability.
Dar also briefed Araghchi on the key aspects of the recently signed Makkah Joint Defence Agreement by Pakistan, Saudi Arabia and Türkiye.
He highlighted the pact’s focus on enhancing strategic cooperation and supporting peace and security in the region.
