A low-pressure area over the Southeast Arabian Sea has intensified into a well-marked low-pressure area (WML) and is projected to develop into a depression today, according to the Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) advisory. The cyclonic system is currently moving westward and is located near Latitude 17.0 N and Longitude 66.5 E in the central Arabian Sea, approximately 900 kilometers south of Karachi.
