KARACHI – Pakistani rupee remains largely stable against latest foreign currencies amid slight fluctuations in the buying and selling prices of US Dollar, Euro, and UK Pound.
On May 31, US Dollar’s buying rate moved up from Rs282.55 to Rs283.40, while selling rate moved slightly from Rs284.25 to Rs284.50, amid modest gain in strength of the greenback.
Euro (EUR) saw a drop, with the buying rate decreasing from Rs322.25 to Rs320.00 and the selling rate from Rs325.00 to Rs323.15. UK Pound also weakened slightly, with buying rates falling from Rs383.70 to Rs380.00 and selling from Rs387.00 to Rs383.80.
Saudi Riyal’s Buying rates dropped from Rs75.30 to Rs75.00, while selling rates slightly increased from Rs75.85 to Rs75.90 whereas UAE Dirham selling rate dipped from Rs77.55 to Rs77.50, while the buying rate remained unchanged at Rs76.90.
Several currencies, including the Australian Dollar (AUD), Canadian Dollar (CAD), Chinese Yuan (CNY), Danish Krone (DKK), Japanese Yen (JPY), Kuwaiti Dinar (KWD), Malaysian Ringgit (MYR), New Zealand Dollar (NZD), and Swiss Franc (CHF), showed no change in their rates compared to the previous update.
