The detained terrorists were found to have connections with banned groups such as Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP), ISIS, and others. During the raids, the CTD seized landmines, detonators, weapons, maps, and copies of important buildings from the possession of the arrested individuals.

A CTD spokesman revealed that the terrorists arrested in Lahore, Multan, and DG Khan were in the process of planning attacks. Additionally, two commanders affiliated with the banned TTP were among those arrested from Attock.

Furthermore, the CTD also detained seven individuals for sharing hate content on social media. These individuals, namely Amjad Attari, Altaf, Adnan, Aijaz, Hamza, and Usman, are now in custody for their involvement in disseminating such harmful material.
