Vows won’t bow down to ‘naked show of power’
Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan lashed out at the these criminals in power for employing fascist tactics under the garb of identifying arsonists to silence and oppress PTI workers and supporters, saying that such a reign of terror did not witness even during Zia and Musharraf martial laws. In a statement on Friday, PTI Chairman said that the mindset behind this unprecedented crackdown and current reign of terror that PTI and its supporters were being subjected to that was not even witnessed during Zia and Musharraf martial laws.
“We Pakistanis are like a herd of sheep who can be terrorised enough to meekly bow down to this naked show of power. Well we will not because we are humans and ummat of the greatest leader of all times who made us pledge to Allah that we will bow to no one except Him (Almighty),” he vowed.
Earlier, he said that more evidence of state brutality was emerging. PTI Chairman said that under the garb of iden-tifying arsonists, fascist tactics have been employed by these criminals in power to silence and oppress PTI workers and supporters.
Imran Khan stated that even women and children were not spared in what was evidently a planned campaign to spread fear and terror. On the other hand exposing another sinister plot of the fascist government, Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Central Secretary Information Farrukh Habib expressed his apprehension that the cabal of crooks could repeat Model Town like tragic incident in Zaman Park.
