Crime report during last 24 hours presented to Sindh CM



Additional IG Karachi Javed Alam Odhu while presenting a report to Chief Minister Sindh Syed Murad Ali Shah on the crimes committed during the last 24 hours said that 139 incidents of street crime took place in 7 districts of the city yesterday, including 53 Mobile phones/cash taken, seven cars stole.n

While eight motorcycles were stolen and 61 motorcycles were stolen. During the robbery, the street criminals injured four people on resistance, one of whom was Sattar son of Shaukat, son of PS Manghopir District West, second Naseer son of Ghulam Hussain of PS Baloch Colony District East, third Kamil son of Sohail and fourth son of Ramzan son of Barik PS Super.

He was injured by dacoits in the central market district. The Chief Minister of Sindh was informed that the police conducted five encounters with street criminals/robbers in which two robbers were killed on the spot while seven street criminals were arrested and eight accused were caught red-handed. Police arrested 171 suspects in 24 hours across the city, including 80 street criminals/thieves, two murderers, 24 accused of possession of illegal weapons, 12 drug dealers and 36 accused involved in other crimes. The Chief Minister was informed.

That Karachi Police arrested 17 car lifters throughout the day. Additional IG Karachi said in his report that during the search operation, 25 illegal pistols, four kilograms of hashish containing 530 grams of ice were recovered.

The Additional IG said that 21 stolen mobile phones, 16 stolen vehicles including five cars and 11 motorcycles have been recovered throughout the day.
