In response to public complaints and under the directives of District Police Officer (DPO) Farman Ullah Khan, law enforcement authorities in South Waziristan have launched a concerted effort to crack down on vehicles with tinted windows. Over the course of two days, the police have escalated their enforcement actions, resulting in the removal of tinted films from the windows of approximately 50 vehicles across various checkpoints and check posts.

The initiative, spearheaded by Azam Warsak Police Station SHO Zabih Ullah Wazir, has seen the meticulous removal of tinted films from vehicle windows, with some instances even involving the burning of these materials on main roads to emphasize the seriousness of the enforcement efforts.

DPO Farman Ullah emphasized the importance of public cooperation in ensuring a peaceful environment, urging individuals from all segments of society, particularly the youth, to actively participate alongside law enforcement in maintaining law and order. He underscored that the crackdown on vehicles with tinted glasses will persist until the issue is completely eradicated from the region.

Sources within the police department revealed that DPO Farman Ullah has issued stringent directives to intensify the crackdown on vehicles with tinted glasses, leading to the acceleration of enforcement actions. The crackdown, spanning the jurisdictions of Wana City Police Station, Azam Warsak Police Station, and Spin Dam Police Station, signifies a concerted effort by law enforcement authorities to address public safety concerns and uphold transparency on the roads.
