Covid SOPs violation: 10 people fined, shops sealed

Many restaurants and shops were sealed in Karachi’s District South Saturday night for violating the Coronavirus SOPs. Four shops at the motorcycle market on the court road in Aram Bagh were sealed. A restaurant and a tea stall were fined and sealed. In Civil Lines, four shops were sealed and a fine of Rs500 each was imposed on 10 people for not wearing masks in public. Meanwhile, in the last 24 hours, 17 patients have died from Corona. The total number of deaths from the corona virus has risen to 3,319. 10,372 samples tested during last 24 hours. Another 1120 new cases were reported in the last 24 hours. So far 2,222,406 samples have been tested. So far, 204103 cases have come to light. In the last 24 hours, 914 more patients have recovered. So far 179,780 patients have recovered; Chief Minister of Sindh Currently 21,004 patients are undergoing treatment. In 20,158 homes, 15 isolation centers and 831 patients are being treated in various hospitals. The condition of 727 patients is said to be critical. 66 patients are on ventilators. Of the 1,120 new cases, 910 are from Karachi. 347 new cases were reported in East District, 290 in South District, 117 in Central District, 71 in Malir District, 61 in Korangi District and 24 in Western District. Chief Minister of Sindh There are 33 cases in Hyderabad, 28 in Sanghar, 15 in Thatta and 13 in Shaheed Benazirabad, while Jacobabad and Shikarpur have 12 cases.
