As many as 135 more Covid-19 positive cases were reported during the last 24 hours, raising the tally of confirmed cases to 24,508 in the district while three lost their battle of life against the deadly virus.
The total infected cases included 22,625 from Rawalpindi and 1883 from other districts so far.
District Health Authority informed Thursday that among the new cases, 24 reported from Rawal Town, 46 from Potohar town, 28 from Rawalpindi Cantt,15 from Taxila,7 from Gujar Khan,6 Kahutta,6 Islamabad,2 from Chakwal and one from Attock.
“Presently 174 confirmed patients were admitted to various city facilities, counting 30 in Holy Family Hospital,31 in Benazir Bhutto Hospital,77 in Institute of Urology,27 in Fauji Foundation Hospital,8 in Hearts International and one in Akhtar Rukhsana Memorial hospital,” the health authority report said.
