A court in Islamabad on Thursday approved another two-day physical remand of chairman Pashtun TahafuzMovement (PTM) ManzoorPashteen in a case filed against him at federal capital’s Tarnool police station.
ManzoorPashteen was produced before the court of Judicial Magistrate Ahmad ShehzadGondal on completion of the two-day physical remand.
ManzoorPashteen’s lawyer Sami Wazir, MussadiqKhattak and others appeared before the court. Investigating Officer requested the court for further physical remand of ManzoorPashteen.
The court asked the investigating officer “Why do you want to further remand”.
The defence lawyer questioned the investigating officer by saying “Tell us about the progress of the remand that has been taken earlier and why are four cases are lodged over one incident.”—NNI
