In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, a court in Srinagar on Friday directed Crime Branch to register an FIR against now suspended policeman and other unidentified cops involved in the custodial killing of Natipora youth at police station Nowgam.
The court directions came after the mother of the deceased youth, Muslim Muneer, filed a petition through her counsel Advocate Tasaduq Hussain Reshi.
After hearing the Counsel and taking the petition into consideration, the court of City Judge Ajay Kumar directed SHO Crime Branch to register an FIR against Munshi of Police Station Nowgam, Abdul Rashid, and other police officials involved in the custodial killing to bring the culprits to book.
