A speeding oil tanker crushed to death three members of a same family including a couple and their son near Machike Town of Sheikhupura on Tuesday.
According to Rescue 1122 and police, a recklessly driven oil tanker ran over a motorcycle, carrying a couple and their son.
As a result, all the three riders including 52-year-old Qadeer, s/o Fateh Muhammad, his wife 50-year-old Tayyeba Bano and son died on the spot.
The family belonged to Sargodha District. Driver of oil tanker managed to flee the scene after the incident. The rescue 1122 rescuers rushed to the scene and shifted the dead bodies to DHQ hospital for medico-legal formalities.
The police have registered a case against the runaway driver and impounded the vehicle. The police shave launched further investigation to hunt the runaway driver.
