Country on path to prosperity amid all odd: Sarwar

Punjab Governor Chaudhry Sarwar claimed on Tuesday that for first time in history, the country is moving on the path of development and prosperity despite all odd.
“Opposition is spreading negative propaganda to destabilize the country but we will not allow them to succeed in any way and the public interest will be fully protected”, Ch Sarwar said, adding that political stability is also necessary for the development and prosperity of the country.
Punjab Governor Ch Sarwar was talking to DG Khan Chamber President Jalaluddin Rumi who called on him. The Punjab governor also participated in the first online International Punjabi Conference held at Lahore College for Women University.
Personalities working for the promotion of Punjabi from India and other countries joined the conference through video link.
According to details, Dera Ghazi Khan Chamber of Commerce President Jalaluddin Rumi called on Governor Ch Sarwar on Tuesday in which issues of business community, employment and other issues were discussed. He appreciated the steps taken by the Punjab governor for provision of clean drinking water and reforming universities.
During the meeting, the governor said that the enemies want to destabilize Pakistan but amid all these negativities, Naya Pakistan is emerging under the leadership of Prime Minister Imran Khan.
“The government is taking practical steps to strengthen the institutions”, he pointed out, adding that the business community has played an exemplary role in the relief against Corona.
On the occasion, Jalaluddin Rumi said that the business community stands united with the government for the development of the country.
We will fully support the steps taken by the government to solve other issues including inflation and we will cooperate with the government.
On the other hand, the Punjab governor participated in the first online International Punjabi Conference at Lahore College for Women University. On the occasion Vice-Chancellor LCWU Bushra Mirza, HOD Punjabi department Mujahida Butt and other personalities working for the promotion of the language from India and other countries also joined.
Addressing the conference, the governor P said that President Dr Arif Alvi would soon inaugurate “Corona Heroes wall” at Governor House, adding that special measures would be taken in universities for the promotion of Punjabi culture.
He said that all the universities have worked hard even during the Corona Crisis and we are constructing Corona Heroes Wall in Governor House on which the names of all the people including the Vice Chancellors and philanthropists who have played a role during Corona crisis.
