A meeting of Corps Commanders on Tuesday took serious note of the malicious propaganda by India and expressed resolve to take all necessary measures to safeguard Pakistan’s territorial integrity.
Speaking on the occasion, Chief of Army Staff General Qamar Javed Bajwa said that the baseless propaganda only reflects their frustration and an attempt to divert attention from their internal contradictions especially gross human rights violations, being committed in the IIOJK.
The entire nation is proud of its defence forces’ state of professionalism and preparedness to counter any threat emanating from the enemy. The forces have always lived up to expectations of the people and forced the enemy to bite the dust.
As India lacks the courage to fight Pakistan in the battle ground, it is resorting to propaganda tools to hamper our march towards progress.
One saw its most recent manifestation when the Indian media falsely and baselessly accused Pakistan of helping Taliban to capture Panjshir in Afghanistan.
Several independent journalists from various corners of the world ridiculed India for spreading lies through fake claims on social media that a fighter jet was shot down by the anti-Taliban forces in Panjshir valley.
The EU Disinfo Lab last year also clearly exposed India as to how it is using the social media to malign Pakistan.
India has also been making several attempts in order to undermine the multi billion dollars CPEC project. India is fully aware that CPEC is going to be the game changer in the region as it offers connectivity to the whole region that will make Pakistan a connectivity hub.
Therefore, India has been making attempts through its proxies to halt the project. The 5th generation warfare is a double edged sword that needs to be tackled by forming a well calibrated national response that is backed with well-defined foreign policy.
We need to develop integrated organizational structures and foster a synergic and cohesive response. It is important that through creative approaches in information and diplomacy the real face of India be continuously exposed to the whole world.
