The Supreme Court of Pakistan Monday disposed of a contempt petition against Justice Qazi Faez Isa after the withdrawal of the plea.
Petitioner advocate Riaz Haneef Rahi withdrew the contempt plea against Justice Isa who will become next chief justice of Pakistan after the retirement of incumbent CJP Umar Ata Bandial in September this year.
Chief Justice Bandial held an in-chamber proceedings on Mr Rahi’s petition. He disposed of the plea after its withdrawal by the petitioner.
