Deputy Commissioner Abbottabad Khalid Iqbal has imposed section 144 by imposing a complete ban on the construction of commercial, semi-commercial and high-rise buildings within the limits of Galiyat Development Authority in view of the threat to the natural environment. The areas which fall in the limit are Bagan, Bakot and Lora Patwar Circles except Mikhyal Circles as construction pose a big threat to the natural environment and beauty of the area.
According to notification No DCA1/44CrPC 485-97 to stop the mushroom growth of the commercial semi commercial buildings and orders will be enforce for indefinite period.
