The Indian National Congress has termed S. Jaishankar as India’s ‘failed’ foreign minister, saying that he has proved to be a failure on every front.

According to Kashmir Media Service, Indian National Congress Spokesperson Supriya Shrinate addressing a press conference in New Delhi said that despite the passing of almost half of the term of American President Biden’s government, no US ambassador has visited India.

She said when the Modi government says that there is an international conspiracy against India, what are the External Affairs Minister Jaishankar and his ministry doing.

Supriya Shrinate said that the foreign minister has remained silent on the issue of Chinese ‘incursion’. She questioned that when Chinese troops entered the Indian side in Ladakh, did not Prime Minister Modi say on his advice that ‘no one came’?

The Congress leader said China is building roads, railway networks and bridges in Ladakh, but India is silent on all these developments. She said India is increasing trade with China and in a way is providing funds to China’s Peoples Liberation Army.

Supriya Shrinate also criticized Jaishankar’s statement that India being a small economy cannot compete with China’s big economy.—INP
