Attaching or confiscating the Kashmiris’ properties, on one pretext or another, by the Modi regime has become the new normal in Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIOJK).

According to a report released by Kashmir Media Service, today, the Modi-led fascist Indian regime is confiscating the properties of Kashmiris to get them to withdraw their support for the freedom struggle.

It deplored that the IIOJK authorities, yesterday, attached another house of an innocent Kashmiri man, Ghulam Ahmad Najar, son of Ghulam Mohammad Najar, under draconian law Unlawful Activities Prevention Act (UAPA) in Khrew area of Pulwama district.

The report said recently, the authorities seized 11 properties worth 90 crores of Indian rupees belonging to Jamaat-e-Islami of the occupied territory.

It said attaching properties of the Kashmiris is a sheer political vendetta on part of the Modi’s Hindutva regime, adding Indian troops are regularly destroying the Kashmiris’ houses during violent military operations.

It said the RSS-backed Modi regime is hell bent on depriving the Kashmiris of their lands, properties and jobs and demolishing their houses or attaching their properties is aimed at breaking their freedom sentiment but it would never succeed in its nefarious designs.

The report maintained that demolition of properties, illegal confiscations and forced evictions are part of India’s systematic settler colonialism campaign in IIOJK. It said Modi is using every brutal tactic to muzzle the Kashmiris’ voice for freedom but his sinister tactics will not deter the Kashmiris from pursuing the freedom cause.

It urged the world community and international human rights organizations to take notice of the Modi regime’s brutal actions in the occupied territory and resolve the lingering dispute according to the UN relevant resolutions and aspirations of the Kashmiri people.

Meanwhile The All Parties Hurriyat Conference has called upon the Secretary General of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation, Hissein Brahim Taha, to come up with a collective policy endorsed by all member countries to conduct a political and economic boycott of India for its disastrous plan for Muslims in India and occupied Jammu and Kashmir.

The appeal has been made ahead of a three-day visit by a five-member delegation led by OIC chief Hissein Brahim Taha to Pakistan and Azad Jammu and Kashmir beginning from Saturday.

The APHC spokesman in a statement issued in Srinagar referred to the reports of Genocide Watch and other international human rights organizations and said that India under Modi-led fascist regime is all set to exterminate Muslims in India and occupied Jammu and Kashmir.—INP
